Why should I join/create a group?People join groups for all different reasons: me new people, pursue new interests, and further their involvement in academic studies . Most importantly joining student groups allow people studying at PSU to have a fun place to meet new people and work with friends who share the same interests as them. If PSU doesn’t currently offer a student group that tickles your fancy, start a new group, who knows, their might be others like you wanting to form an exciting, never been-done-before club? You’ll never know until you try!All forms are in pdf format unless otherwise noted. When you register as a student group you are automatically assigned to an advisor
through SALP. Your advisor is determined by the type of group you register
as (for example, there is one advisor for all of the multicultural groups
on campus).Your advisor can be very helpful, especially when first starting
out. They are able to answer most questions that you have about processes
and resources on campus. Below is the list of SOC advisors. If you have
questions feel free to email your advisor. If you need to meet directly
with your advisor directly, schedule an appointment in the SALP office
